Emelia "Millie" Sanchez-Gongwer, born on January 14, 1932, was called to the Lord on January 1, 2010. Emelia lived in Albuquerque her entire life. She is survived by her one daughter, Yolanda Lee and husband William and her six sons, Rudy and wife Jennie, Danny, Anthony and wife Melinda, Dickie, Sam and wife Sherri and Carlos and wife Tina; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Marie; and two brothers, Manuel and Joe. Pallbearers will be: Ryan, Juan, Anthony, Miguel, Daniel and Daniel. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Alma and Crystal. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 4, 2010 at the 8th St. Chapel of /Garcia Mortuary, with Evening Service following at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Calvary Chapel on Jefferson and Osuna.
