Carla Jean Farrar, 57, a resident of Albuquerque since 1969, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2009. She is survived by her mother, Velora Farrar; sister, Regina Damon and husband Ernest; brother, John Farrar and wife, Marjorie; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Carla was preceded in death by her father, Rex Leon Farrar; and her sister Debra Ann Farrar. She was born on August 1, 1952 in Roswell, NM and graduated from Del Norte High School in Albuquerque, Class of '70. Carla was a loving daughter, sister and aunt and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place and a private scattering will take place at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque at a later date.
