Dewitt C. Tucker, of Albuquerque, passed on Tuesday, December 29, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Maude Tucker; his brothers, Basil and Ray; his sisters, Lois, Katie, Naomi and Annie Dee. Dewitt is survived by his wife, Ruth; his son Jim; and his special friends, Tina, Alerico and Noriana Lucero. He also left behind many other family members and friends and also his fellow parishioners at the University Church of Christ where he had long been a member. Family and friends are invited to a visitation at French ~ University Chapel on Friday, January 1st from 5:00-8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at French ~ University Chapel followed by a committal service at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Albuquerque Christian Children's Home, 5700 Winter Haven Dr NW Albuquerque, NM 87120-2643.
