David Lujan Sr., 68, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away Monday, December 21, 2009. Mr. Lujan is survived by his loving wife of fifty two years, Bessie Lujan; his children, David Lujan Jr. and wife, Ida, Erelda Romero and fiance, Alex Sedillo, Thomas Lujan and wife, Valerie, Rhonda Chavez and husband, Herman, Yolanda Gonzales and husband, Eloy, Nelson Lujan and wife, Paulette, Patricia Smith and husband, Tim; his sisters, Clarinda Roybal, Teresa Perea, Cecilia Marquez; his brothers, Rosendo Lujan and wife, Selina, Antonio Lujan and wife, Theresa, Felipe Lujan, Pat Lujan and wife, Nedda, Hilario Lujan and wife, Ofelia, Carlos Lujan; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Lujan was preceded in death by his parents, Patrocinio and Teresita Lujan; daughter, Myra Lujan. Mr. Lujan was a member of the Catholic Church and retired from Groendyke Transportation after nineteen years of service. Visitation Tuesday, December 22, 2009, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Wednesday, December 23, 2009, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edwin Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona SW, Father Bill Sanchez, presider. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Smith, Antonio Lujan, Eloy Gonzales, Alex Sedillo, Seferino Chavez and Ofimiano Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Adrian Lujan, Adam Lujan, Santiago Romero, Joseph Romero, Jeremy Chavez, Peter Montoya and Herman Chavez. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW 243-7861
