Margaret Campos Alvarado, 97, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 20, 2009. She is survived by her children, Patsy Ulibarri, Jerry Alvarado, Thelma Martinez, and Isaac Alvarado and wife, Eva; grandson, Brian Alvarado and wife, Libbye; 11 other grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Alvarado was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Alvarado; daughter, Lydia Alvarado; sons-in-law, Joe Ulibarri and Faustin Martinez; and grandsons, Mark Martinez and Bill Alvarado. After being widowed at the age of 29, she raised five children and dedicated her life to the well being of her family. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, December 22, 2009, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. A mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 23, 2009, 12:30 p.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7500 Paseo Del Norte NE. Pallbearers will be Jason Ulibarri, Jeremy Jamieson, Jimy Byrd, Sean Yorty, Eric Yorty, John Paul Petrey, and Bruce Alvarado.
