Cai Mitchell Jiron, four years old, born March 5, 2005, entered eternal bliss into the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 as a result of a car accident on I-40 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Cai is survived by his parents Christopher Paul and Brandy Nicole Jiron, his siblings, Ayla Nicole (age 13), Hailey Jade (age ten), Nelo Christopher (age nine), and Ravyn Triniti (age six). He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Richard Dennis and Irene Jiron of Albuquerque; maternal grandparents Mitchell and Nancy Barber of Kitrel, North Carolina; David and Jo Fourcher of Austin, Texas; great-grandparents Richard P. and Erica Jiron of Albuquerque; Edito O. and Josephine Trujillo of Albuquerque; and Dallas and Peggy Barber of Williamston, North Carolina. He is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, and cousins across the U.S. Cai will be remembered for leading family prayer at meal time while holding hands. His favorite part of the prayer which made him giggle was when the family lifted their hands and proclaimed in unison, "AMEN!" Cai knew no strangers from the lonely old man to a smiling baby. Cai said he would love all of us "foreder and eder." Visitation will be Monday, December 21, 2009 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Community, 5415 Fortuna Road NW, Albuquerque, NM 87105, with Mass of the Angels to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Father Joel Garner, presider.
