Agnes Miera-Chavez, our loving and beloved mother was reunited with her first husband and our father, Rumaldo "Juju" Miera and with her Heavenly Father on Friday, December 11, 2009. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." Agnes is survived by her second husband, Gabriel Chavez; his daughters and grandchildren. Mom leaves a lifelong legacy of unconditional love for her children, Rudy J. Miera and wife MariAnne, John Miera, Cathy Chavez and husband Ruben, and daughter Irene and husband Daniel, great-grandchildren, Patrick and Daniel Joseph, daughter, Celina and husband Dominic and great-grandchildren, Annalisa and Nikolas, Bill Miera and wife Emily, daughters Deanna, Vic and Angel and son Arthur and wife Kira and great-grandchildren Isaiah, Emily and Sarah, Susi Fiala and husband Jan and son Jon Cardwell and Meagan Cardwell, Joey Miera, Marlene Valdez and husband Richard and daughters Delilah and Raquel, and Margaret Casaus and husband Tony and son Samuel and daughter Noell. Agnes also shared her Christian life and joys with her best friend Andrea Lujan, her sister-in-law Jessica Baca, cousin Loretta, aunts Rose and Lourdes, other cousins, aunts, uncles and numerous friends that she knew from her Music Ministry, prayer groups and bible studies. She is also survived by her sister Margaret Romero and daughter Margie and her son Patrick and was preceded in death by her brothers Rudy and Eric Baca, her father Hermenes Baca and mother Margarita S. Baca and special aunt Horacia Sanchez. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Eucharistic Ministers Gloria Garcia and Ed Monjares and Barbara Johnson and caregiver Juanita Salas. Services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. Thanks to all who have been supportive and for all your prayers.....you know who you are and God Bless You!
