Barbara J. Wallace "Peaches", 59, a resident of Albuquerque for over 20 years, went home to the Lord on Tuesday, December 1, 2009. She is survived by her parents, Clarence Lane and Bobbie Lane both of Albuquerque; brother, Kent Lane and wife, Holly of Scottsdale, AZ; sister, Jacqueline Joseph of Albuquerque; daughters, Stefan Wallace and Leslie Wallace both of Berkeley, CA, Shayla Morris, Camille Buchanan and Alexzanderia Buchanan, all of Albuquerque; grandsons, Devyon Harper and McKenn Green both of Albuquerque; niece, Cecilia Harvey; nephews, Marcus Joseph and Rashad Thomas Taylor; and great-nephew, LaShawn Joseph all of Albuquerque. Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by her former spouse, Kopula Buchanan. Peaches was caring and loving; she helped everyone. She was a member of Joylight Church-God in Christ. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2009, 1:00 p.m. at Joylight Church - God in Christ, 409 Santa Fe Ave. S.E., 87102.
