Betty Katherine Kent, Born in Monte Vista, Colorado August 29, 1926, left her journey on this earth December 1, 2009 at 12:00 a.m. in Mountain View Hospital in Las Cruces, NM. She is survived by her five children, Al Kent Lake City Co. Dallas Kent Caballo, NM. Harlan Kent, Lake City, Co. Claudia Jackson Fillmore, CA and Nola Kent Elephant Butte, NM; also 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Betty lived the last year of her life in Truth or Consequences, NM. Betty's ashes will be scattered at the annual Alexander family reunion, held in the hills of Colorado where she grew up as one of seven children of Clyde and Ruby Alexander. A memorial service will be held in T or C, NM at the assisted living facility where she resided until her passing. She will be dearly missed.
