Richard R. (Dick) Francis. Long time Edgewood resident, Dick Francis, succumbed to a long illness, Friday, November 20, 2009. He is survived by his children: Pamela, Karen, Lydia, Debra and Joseph; his grandchildren; his great-grandchildren; as well as his siblings: Duane, Carol and Mary and many relatives throughout New Mexico and Texas. True to his practical nature and per his final wishes, there will not be a funeral service. Instead family and friends will gather at his home to celebrate his life and reminisce later in December. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you instead make a donation to the American Diabetes, Heart or Lung Associations.
