Veronica Aragon, 64, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister passed away after a long illness on Saturday, November 28, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Felis Almanza; and brother, Daniel Almanza. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Aragon; daughter Monica Gonzales; sons, Ray Anthony and Francisco Aragon; granddaughters, Natasha Aragon, Reylene, Gina, and Vanessa Gonzales; one great-grandson, Elijah Ramirez; three brothers and their wives, Jesse Almanza and Beatrice, Raymond Almanza, and Francisco Almanza and Romey; four sisters and their husbands, Lupe Sanchez and Joe Sanchez, Lola Sanchez and Tony Sanchez, Mary Salas and Floyd Salas, and Carmen Rodriguez; as well as other family and friends who loved her and will miss her. Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 550 Atrisco Drive SW on Thursday, December 3, 2009. A Viewing will be held at 8:00 a.m. A Rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date. Pallbearers are Ray Anthony Aragon, Michael Dominguez, Pauline Aragon, Michael Connick, Jesus Sanchez, and Bobby Castellano.
