Obituary for CORDOVA

Andrew Cordova, age 74, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother, left to be with our Lord on November 18, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Andrew is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gloria Cordova, two sons, Dennis (Louise) and Andy (Sandra); three grandsons, Jeremy (Jennifer), Dominic (Celina), Gabriel (Alicia) and eight great-grandchildren, Santiago, Andrew, Julian, Vanessa, Alyssa, Fabien, Elena, and Elijah; three brothers, Tony (Linda), Johnny (Dolores), and Max (Rosemarie). He also left behind many more relatives and friends that will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents Max and Romelia Cordova. He was a family man and loved life. He retired from UNM after 28 years of service. He passed away as peacefully as he lived his life. He was a man with many talents. He loved traveling and woodworking. Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 23, 2009, 11:30 a.m. at, St. Therese Catholic Church, 300 Mildred Ave. NW, Albuquerque, NM.
