George A. Bartlett , passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009. He was born on February 3, 1920 in Three Rivers, Canada to Arthur and Rose Bartlett who preceded him in death along with 5 brothers and 1 sister. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Juliette Bartlett, four children: Carol Anderson of Rio Rancho, NM, Sharon Jensen of Rio Rancho, NM, Dennis Bartlett of Scottsbluff, Nebraska and Lori Van Laningham of Roswell, NM, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. George served 11 years in the United States Navy in both WWII and Korea. A Rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM with a mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Respects may be paid to the family following the mass in the Father D'Arco Hall at the church.
