Juan M. Avalos, 58, of Lubbock, TX passed away to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 18, 2009. He leaves behind his beloved family, wife, Delia Avalos; father, Manuel Avalos; daughters, Carmen, Lydia, and Mary; grandsons, Melvin, Thomas, Antonio, and Michael; three sisters; two brothers; as well as other family and friends who loved him and will miss him. The Avalos family welcomes all who loved Juan to celebrate the life and memory of Juan M. Avalos. Services will be held at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. A Rosary will be recited Monday, November 23, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. A final Viewing will take place on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. He will be buried following the Services at Santa Fe National Cemetery with full honors at 1:30 p.m. The Avalos family would like to honor Juan with a reception at one of his most favorite places, Loyal Order of Moose (5009) Industrial Park Loop, Rio Rancho, NM 87124 at 3:30 p.m. following the burial.
