Henry W. Sanchez Sr. June 27, 1931 - November 17, 2009. Henry was a carpenter by trade; he proudly served his country in the United States Army. Henry loved fishing and watching football and leaves behind his faithful companion Sparky. He is survived by his daughter Yvonne Sanchez; son Henry Sanchez Jr. and wife Pauline; his brothers Joe "Dewey" Sanchez and wife Carmen, Richard Sanchez and wife Toni, Billy Sanchez and wife Jeanette, and Bobby Sanchez and wife Gloria; sister Alice Martinez and husband Cleo; grandchildren Jarred and wife Olivia, Julie, and Adrian; great-grandchild Aubrey; and special thanks to Bill and Carmen Black and caretaker Thelma Ortiz. A Rosary will be recited Friday, November 20, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in Rio Rancho. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish.
