Gladys May Nail, 100, a resident of Albuquerque since 1945, died Monday, November 9, 2009. She is survived by her two children, Nancy Opland of Bosque Farms, NM and Will Nail and wife, Martha, of Albuquerque; four grandchildren, Eddie Opland, Jr. and wife, Kimberly, Carrie Armour and husband, David, Sara Jack and husband, Dean, and Turner Nail; great-grandchildren, Edwin Opland, Cassandra Graham, Kira Armour, Stacia Card, Renee Opland, Jeffrey Card, Rachell Card, Emma Jack, and Evan Jack; great-great-grandchildren, Opie Opland and Isaiah Card; nieces, Ruth Forbes and husband, Al and Flora Mae Hogue; and other relatives and friends. Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Nail in 1985; son, Gene Nail in 1988; and two brothers, Earl and Ray Haywood. She was born on May, 19, 1909 in Woodward, Oklahoma to William and Carrie Brasmer Haywood. Gladys was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Services will be held at French ~ Wyoming Chapel, Tuesday, November 17, 2009, 2:00 p.m. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
