Obituary for KECK

Frances A. Keck, 78, went to be with our Heavenly Father and her loving husband Russ on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 after a long battle with Alzheimers. Frances was born Francesca Scimonelli on April 25, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York. She married her first husband, Robert Quanz, and had six children. Frances became a widower in 1974. She then met the love of her life, Russell Keck, who also had a daughter, and they married on August 6, 1977. Their life together was very special and very active. They were members of the Rio Rancho Country Club where she played tennis every weekend. They loved to travel. Frances is survived by her seven children, Debbie LoGuercio and husband Steve, Robert Quanz, Richard Quanz and wife Barbara, Kathy Quanz-Martinez, Wendy Iorg and fiance, Michael, Stephanie McCullough and husband John, Patti Salaz and husband Marcos; sister, Margaret (Tootsie) Ayers; and brother Roy Scimonelli and wife Pat; fourteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She will be missed by many. The family would like to especially thank the caregivers of Haven Home Care, Ester, Maryann, and Joan for their tenderness and loving touch they provided during her four year stay. A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho, Friday, November 13, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Interment will be on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park where Fran and Russ's remains will be buried together.
