Tommy Leo Crisler, 81, passed from this life on Wednesday November 4, 2009 at his home in Los Alamos. Born July 25, 1928, in Spearman, TX, Leo was raised in Dalhart, TX. After serving our country in the US Navy, Leo accepted a job at Los Alamos National Laboratories and moved to Los Alamos in 1951, where he worked until retiring in 1989. Leo was an avid bowler who also worked at and eventually owned the Los Alamos Bowling Alley for many years. He was also a long time member of the Los Alamos Elk's Lodge. Leo was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Nemec, in 2006. He is survived, loved and remembered by his wife of 61 years, Jean; sister Wilma Hall and husband Gene of Amarillo, TX; granddaughter Brenda Nemec of Corrales; granddaughter Michelle Ngo and husband Nghia of Albuquerque; grandson Don Nemec and wife Brandi of Fort Worth, TX; great-grandsons Josh and Gabe Ngo; great-granddaughters Olivia, MaryLeigh and expected baby girl Nemec; as well as many extended family members, many dear friends and his beloved pets. No services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to the charity of your choice. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and prayers.
