Eufelia G. Perea born May 3, 1921 went to the arms of our Lord on October 25, 2009 at the age of 88 after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her son, Toby Perea; and her grandsons, Lorenzo, Jr. and James Garcia, Sr. She is survived by her daughters, Sofie Regalado and husband Avelino, Rosaline Garcia and her partner Eddie Gonzales; her son and primary caregiver, Lawrence Perea; her only surviving sister, Celia Gurule; grandchildren, Betty Jaramillo, Margie Baca and Carlos, Rosemary Sanchez and Robert, Michael Montano and Verna, Nick Garcia, Johnny Perea, Richard Perea and Vincent Acevedo; great-grandchildren, James Garcia, Jr., Tad and Emma Garcia, Yvonne Saavedra, Leiloni Acevedo, Makayla Montano, Angelica DeLisi, Richard, Dina and Joseph Jaramillo, Phillip, Edward Jr., Chris, Stephen Chavez, Leonard Perea and Lorenzo Acevedo; great-great grandchildren, Anthony, Estevan and Jacob Jaramillo, Joseph Jaramillo, Jr., Wyatt Perea and Steven Alejandro Chavez; and a large extended family of nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be prayed at Sacred Heart Church on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Vincent Acevedo, Nick Garcia, James Garcia, Jr., Michael Montano, Richard Perea and Richard Jaramillo.
