Mabel H. Chavez, 71, "Our precious Mother went home to be with the Lord on October 27, 2009, after a long illness." Mabel was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque. Mabel is survived by her children Antoinette, Larry, Donald and Ray; her sisters, Tita, Crusita, Eva, and Marie; her brothers, Harold, ArthurJr., and James; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 11 stepchildren. Visitation will be Friday, October 30, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Heaven Bound Ministries, 4311 12th Street NW with a Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m., Pastors Joe and Josie Cordero, presiders.
