Gertrude "Judy" Hall, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1961, went to be with her Lord on October 16, 2009. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, James Hall; son, James Hall of Los Lunas; daughters, Kathy Brand and husband Darold of Fremont, NE, Eydee Dowd and husband Mike of Edgewood, and Linda Hall of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Eric Brandt and wife Cassie of Seattle, WA, Damon Brandt and wife Sherry of Vinita, OK, Stephanie Funkhouser and husband Brian of Monclovia, OH, Lisa Nichols and husband Nick of Greeley, CO, and Jon Michael Dowd and wife Cathy of St. Petersburg, FL; four great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and a whole host of "adopted" children. She was preceded in death by her son, Patrick D. Hall; and grandson, Adam James McPheeters. Judy was a longtime member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Services will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Eastern Hills Baptist Church, 3100 Morris NE. with Pastors Larry Miller and Brian Steely officiating. Interment will follow at Sante Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French - Lomas Chapel on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the Building Fund at Eastern Hills Baptist Church or VistaCare Hospice, 5639 Jefferson St, NE, 87109.
