Petra Baca Montano, 84, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 15, 2009 in Albuquerque. She is survived by her sons, Patrick and wife, Bernadette, David and wife, Mary; honorary daughter, Angie Dafoe; grandchildren, Matthew, Damian, Adam and Elizabeth.; great-grandchildren Josh, Maddie, Marinus, and Genevieve; brothers, Eloy, Paul, Theodore and Louis; sisters, Tome, Beatrice, and Margie; and numerous relatives and friends. Petra was preceded in death by her parents, Eufracio and Florencia; husband, Gabriel; sisters, Flora and Lucy. She was an avid runner and finished 3rd in cycling at the National Senior Olympics in 1992. Petra will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends and family may visit 6:00 p.m. until the Rosary, which will be recited on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, 7:00 p.m., at French ~ Lomas Chapel 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Funeral Mass will held on Thursday, October 22, 2009, 11:00 a.m., at Prince of Peace Catholic Community 12500 Carmel NE.
