Gracie Sellers. CORRECTED TIMES! Gracie passed to life eternal on Saturday, October 10, 2009, after a short illness following a cancer diagnosis. She was born in Miller's Ferry, Alabama in 1939, and was a graduate of Knoxville College in Tennessee. Gracie devoted her life to education, teaching a total of 48 years, 16 years at Menaul School, one year at Queen of Heaven, and 32 years at Manzano High School. She is survived by two sisters, Gladys Sellers and Margaret Ransom, and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Ms. Seller's life will be held at Manzano High School on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 7:00 p.m., in the main gym. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 16, 2009 at First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust, NE,( off of I-25, between MLK and Central ) at 1:00 p.m. with a reception following in Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Protect the Pride, Manzano High School, 12200 Lomas Blvd, NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112.
