Jason " Hyoung Jun" Nam, 43, born November 30, 1965 in Seoul, Korea, passed away unexpectedly on October 6, 2009, in Albuquerque. He is survived by his loving wife Kim; his children, son, Richard, 17, and his daughter, Shannon, 11; mother, Hwang Sung Ja; two brothers, Hyoung Jong and Hyoung Jik; sister, Woo Young; Father and mother-in-law, Richard J. and Poong Cha Broder; sister-in-law, Tina Denton and husband Matt; brother-in-law, Michael Broder and Jenifer Duarte, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Jason was preceded in death by his father, Nam Bok Sam. Jason was a former member of the Republic of Korea Army, he had a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and was a graduate of Hawaii Pacific University. He was a business owner in Hawaii for many years before he and his family moved to Colorado Springs, CO in 2006. Jason was a loving husband and father who found great joy in watching his children grow. He will be missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at French Mortuary, Lomas location, on Monday, October 12, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
