Louis Belisario Montenegro, 90 years old passed away peacefully, Saturday, October 3, 2009, while surrounded by his loving family. Visitations will be Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final viewing will be Thursday from 7:15 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Annunciation Church, 2532 Vermont NE, at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Casket Bearers will be Chris Duran, Joe John Montoya, Roger Zaplin, Mike Zaplin, David Garcia and Antonio Martinez. Honorary Bearers will be Christopher Martinez and Ashley Ordonez. Military honors will be accorded by Veterans of Foreign Wars Honor Guard of Santa Fe, NM. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, for the research of Lung Cancer, 10501 Montgomery Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111.
