Jim George, long time resident of New Mexico, passed away October 3, 2009. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Wanda; six children, son, Jimmy Wade, daughter, Tina Wood and husband Richard, daughter, Deborah George, daughter, Sandra Jean Youngblood and husband Lemuel "Buddy", and son Ronnie George and wife Arlene; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; five step-children, Karen Ingram and husband Robert, Patricia Jackson and husband Ron, Cathy Brown and husband Roger, Linda Duffee and husband Barry, and David Cook and wife Irene and numerous step-grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Farley. Jim was a freight hauler and heavy equipment operator throughout his professional career. He worked for many companies including Consolidated Freight and Red Ball Motor Freight. Most recently, Jim worked for Socorro Taxi DBA American Transportation primarily providing transportation for people needing to attend medical appointments. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Caballo Community Church. located off of Old Highway 187 ( before crossing bridge at Caballo ) French 10500 Lomas Blvd 505-275-3500
