Richard A. La Grange SSGT USMC Ret. October 23, 1958 - September 28, 2009 Richard A. La Grange beloved Son, Father, Brother, Uncle and Grandfather was greeted by his brother Frank and our Heavenly Father as he suddenly passed away Monday, September 28th, 2009. He was a life long resident of Albuquerque. Richard served 20 years in the United States Marine Corp and served our country in Operation Desert Storm, his specialties were Reconnaissance, Rifleman, Parachute jumper and Scuba. He was loved by his family and will be deeply missed. Richard is survived by his loving parents Dolores and Eddie Garcia; his children, Richard Eric and wife Vanessa, Melissa Suzanne and husband Darryl; grandchildren, Rashaun, Isaiah, Audrey and Natalie; brothers, Edward Garcia and Chris Garcia; sisters Edwina LaGrange, Ancilla Quintana, Yvonne Montano and husband Mike, Lupe Chavez and husband Charles; his sweetheart Christina Bryant; special Aunt Frances Morales; nephews, John Christopher Quintana, Michael Montano, Eddie Garcia, Frank Quintana, Daniel Quintana and Frank Angelo Quintana: nieces Gabrielle, Sophia Montano, Makaila Quintana, Emilee Chavez and Brooklyn Garcia and many more family and friends. Visitations will be Friday, October 2, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services Alameda Mortuary where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2009, at Queen of Angels Chapel at 12th and I-40. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Michael Montano, Frank Quintana, Daniel Quintana, Darryl McElwee, Sonny Torres and James Gabaldon.
