Obituary for FORQUER

Timothy Joseph Forquer passed away on September 12, 2009 at home in the presence of family and friends in Santa Fe, New Mexico after a short but valiant battle with glioblastoma brain cancer. Tim, born July 16, 1940, was a loving husband and brother, devoted father and doting grandfather. He is survived by his wife Sandra of 43 years, his daughters Beth and son-in-law Chris Ruch from San Diego, CA, and Bonnie and son-in-law Rob Strickland, from Gunnison, CO, granddaughters Molly and Emma Strickland and brothers Russell, Harold, Paul and Charles Forquer. A graduate of Erie Cathedral Prep in 1958, he also graduated with a BSEE from Gannon University in Erie, PA. in 1964. Tim was an electrical engineer with Westinghouse Research and Development Center and Compunetics in Pittsburgh, PA; a sonar and radar engineer with RCA in Moorestown, NJ and with General Electric and Lockheed Martin in Syracuse, NY. Upon retirement, Tim was an instructor of Information Technology at Everest College in Colorado Springs, CO. A volunteer with the American Cancer Society, Tim was known for his tireless generosity, kindness, gentleness, humor and wisdom. He was and will always be, adored by all whose lives he touched.
