Daniel Lawrence C de Baca, age 61, a resident of Bernalillo, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2009. He is survived by his father, Nazario and wife, Sabina; brothers, Bob C De Baca and wife, Lesly and Nick C de Baca and wife, Julie; nephew, Michael C de Baca; and extensive family. The C de Baca family traveled extensively overseas where Daniel was born in Cochabamba, Bolivia on July 17, 1948. He graduated as Valedictorian from St. Michaels High School in Santa Fe, Class of 1966 and earned a degree in psychology from the University of Tampa, Florida, Class of 1970 where he was also Valedictorian. Daniel will rest in peace with his mother Consuelo; and nephew Nicholas. Daniel's life will be respected with a Memorial Rosary Wednesday, September 30, 2009, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino del Pueblo, in Bernalillo. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 1, 2009, 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Following services his life will be celebrated at the family restaurant, Coronado Grill, located on Hwy. 550.
