Isabel Mary Garcia, 85, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on September 25, 2009. Mrs. Garcia is survived by her children, Robert Garcia Jr. and wife, Patricia, Julia Cordova and husband, Joe Talamante, James Garcia and wife, Carmen and Michael Garcia and wife, Patricia; her brother, Demecio Apodaca and wife, Mary; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Theresa, Steven, Monica, Frank, Barbara, Tomas, Michael, Christina, Rachel, Maria, Mario, Amelia, Joseph and Sandy; 19 great-grandchildren and one on the way. Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Garcia Sr. Mrs. Garcia was a life long member of Santuario de San Martin Catholic Church; and a bingo queen at Sandia Casino. Visitation will be Monday, September 28, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Tuesday, September 29, 2009 from 11:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Santuario de San Martin, 8601 Camino San Martin SW, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 12:00 p.m., father Leo Padget, presider. A Committal service will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Steven Garcia, Frank Cordova Jr., Michael Garcia Jr., Tomas Cordova, Joseph Sanchez and Mario Montano. Honorary pallbearers will be Rachel Garcia Maria Cordova, Elizabeth Torres, Joshua Garcia, and Theresa Cordova and Chaz Burdik.
