David Chavez, 69, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on September 25, 2009. Mr. Chavez is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years Mrs. Dolores Chavez; his children, David Chavez Jr., Mike D. Chavez and wife, Veronica and Chris Chavez; his brother, Joe Chavez and wife, Evelyn; five grandchildren, Miguel, Alesia, Estevan, Victoria and Olivia; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Chavez was preceded in death by his parents, Mequiadez and Adela Chavez. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 29, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitaiton will be Wednesday, September 30, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Father Joel Garner, presider.
