Michael "Mike" Woodruff, 71, a long-time resident of Albuquerque, went into the arms of his loving Jesus Christ on Monday, September 21, 2009. He is survived by his wife Ellen; children, Michael, Victoria, James, and Roberta; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Ronald Woodruff, Stephen Woodruff, Tony Woodruff, and Mary Katherine Woodruff; and numerous other relatives and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Mary Catherine and Mary Ann; his brother, Peter; and with great sorrow the death of his two granddaughters, Katie and Claire. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of his Life will take place at a Memorial Rosary at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, Friday, September 25, 2009, 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will take place at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE, Saturday, September 26, 2009, 9:30 a.m. with Monsignor Francis X. Eggert, Celebrant. Ennichement of cremated remains will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
