Jerry G Wallace, 66, died Sept 21, 2009. Jerry fought a good battle but God had other plans. He is survived by his wife Patsy, daughter Jessie Steinly and husband David, grandchildren Ryan Wertz and Heather Steinly, sisters Carolyn McCracken and husband Ralph and Kate Padderson and husband Ernie and many other family and friends. Jerry's father was in the military so he traveled many places with his family before they settled in Albuquerque when his father retired. He and Patsy met in 1970 in Albuquerque when he saw her window shopping. A relative and mutual friend introduced them and they have been together since. Mr. Wallace retired in 2008 from Woman's Hospital, formerly Heights General Hospital, after 31 years of employment. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P O Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK, 73123-1718. Services will be Thursday, 11:00 am, at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE, with burial following at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday morning 9:30 am until service.
