Julian R. Pohl, 78, a resident of Tijeras, NM passed away on September 18, 2009 with his family at his side. Mr. Pohl is survived by his beloved wife, Frances; his children, Henry Pohl and wife, Barbara, Rudy Pohl and wife, Deborah, Donna Padilla and husband, David, Wilfred Pohl, Frieda Saiz and husband, Tommy, Julian B. Pohl; five sisters, Alice Garcia and husband, Bobby, Rose Garcia and husband, Walter, Maryann Padilla and husband, Telesfor, Loretta Garcia and husband, Ted, and Corine Garcia; his brothers, Cosme Pohl and wife, Myrna, Herman Pohl and wife Peggy, Al Pohl and wife, Olivia; his aunt, Inelda Jaramillo; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Pohl was a member of the Catholic Church, and the Escobosa Riders Club for 41 years. Visitation will be Monday, September 21, 2009 at Holy Child Catholic Church, 19 Camino de Santo Nino, Tijeras, NM from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. Final visitation will be Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Father Granito, presider. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Crystal Pohl, Joseph Pohl, Adriana Saiz, Miranda Pohl, Thomas Saiz, Nicholas Pohl, Alessandra Pohl, Juan Pohl and Rudi Pohl.
