Tolene Fuller died peacefully September 14, 2009 after a long and fruitful life. She was born in Dumas, Texas in 1912 to T.F. and Viva Burks. She came from a farming family of eight children. Her dad was the first farmer to grow wheat in Moore County, Texas. She married Loyd "Bus" Brown of Dumas, and they had two daughters, Dru Hager of Albuquerque, N.M. and Bobby Widener of Aiken, S.C. She also leaves four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister, Ann Thompson of Bartlesville, OK. Tolene worked all of her life as a bookkeeper. Her last job was at Roll'N Home Park in Albuquerque where she lived and was loved by all who knew her. Graveside services will be held at Dumas Cemetery on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Tolene's name to the Crippled Children's Transportation Fund, 6600 Zuni SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108 or Cal Farley's Ranch, P.O.
