Obituary for TONIGAN

Diane Kathleen Moody Tonigan, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, September 5, 2009. Diane was born November 15, 1960 in Omaha, NE to Don and Johnita Moody. She is survived by her daughter, Jackie of Houston, TX and son, Drew of Albuquerque; parents, Don and Johnita Moody of Rock Port, MO; sisters, Dawn Lynch and husband, Doug, Debbie Contreras and husband, Mike, all of Papillion, NE; Dona Braniff of Omaha, NE; father-in-law, Richard F. Tonigan; brother-in-law, J. Scott Tonigan and wife, Radka of Albuquerque; and numerous nephews, nieces, great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Eric Tonigan, DDS. Diane was a graduate of Omaha South High School of 1979, the University of New Mexico, BA, MA, LED. She was a passionate and an amazing wife, mother, sister, friend, educator, and Big Red Husker fan. Her compassion, happiness and laughter were contagious. All of those whose lives were touched by her will miss her deeply. Funeral services and celebration of her life will be held Saturday, September 12, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 10,000 Spain Rd. NE.
