Theresa Werner passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September2, 2009. Theresa and her parents came to the United States from Belgium when she was a small child. The Werners settled in West Virginia. Theresa graduated from Mount St. Joseph Women's College in Cincinnati, Ohio, in the early 1930's. Upon graduation, she returned to West Virginia and worked in accounting for a large mining company. In 1970, Theresa retired and moved to New Mexico. She fell in love with the people, sky, traditions, and the many other charms of New Mexico.
