Obituary for NABORS

Nettie Nabors a lifelong resident of Albuquerque passed away on Thursday, September 03, 2009. She is survived by her three nieces, Priscilla Chavez, Lucia Turner and husband David, Dorella Grabowski and husband Gale; six nephews, Rey Sandoval, and wife Geraldine, Pete Sandoval and wife Alberta, Ignacio Sandoval and wife Laura, Albert Sandoval and wife Lorraine, Robert Sandoval and wife Robina; Alan Nabors and wife Yolanda; she is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews. Mrs. Nabors was preceded in death by her husband William Nabors; her parents Cornelio and Dolores Sandoval; her brothers Tony Sandoval and his wife Dora, Cornelio Sandoval and his wife Trini; and her sister Annie Hunick and her husband Leo. She was also preceded in death by her nephew Melvin Nabors; two great-nephews and one great-niece; her brother and sister-in-law David and Lola Nabors, and one sister-in-law Mercedes (Yelles) Baca and beloved friend, late in life, Q.B. Silva. A Visitation will be held on Monday, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Monday at Holy Rosary Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Gene Griese at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at Holy Rosary Church. Interment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Alan Nabors, Pete Sandoval, Ignacio Sandoval, Robert Sandoval, Albert Sandoval and George Chavez, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers are: Gale Grabowski, David Turner, Rey Sandoval and Antonio Sandoval.
