Alice M. Smith, 66, of Albuquerque, N.M. passed away 23 August 2009. Alice was born 20 July 1943 in Grandville, NY. She was married on 29 September 1967 to George Smith who awaits her in their resting place of Wells, Vt. Alice was survived by her four children, Marc, Matt, Meredith and Marcy; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. In her memory, there will be an informal outdoor gathering at Heritage Hills Park, on Ventura, north of Academy, on September 6, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. A funeral will be held in Wells, Vt. on 17 October 2009. Alice has asked that instead of flowers, donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in her name.
