Brando Sanchez. Our Beloved Brando Sanchez, 21, a lifelong resident of New Mexico who lived in Mountainair and Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2009. He is survived by his mother, Judy Greene and step-father Travis Greene; grandparents Eddie and Jennie Sanchez and Jim and Dorothy Greene; aunt Cynthia Montez; uncles Gene Sanchez, Jimmy Greene and wife Dana, and Lonnie Greene and wife Sonya; father Albert Chavez; grandparents Sonny and Irene Chavez; uncle Nick, aunts Marlene and Darlene Chavez; special cousin Kayla Montez and many other cousins. He was a graduate of St. Pius and a member of Mountainair Gymkhana Rodeo. He was raised on a ranch where his passion for animals grew. He aspired to become a veterinarian. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. at French Lomas Chapel. Mass will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont, NE, Abq. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
