Cecilia Gutierrez was born April 5, 1928. She went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at the age of 81. Cecilia was born in El Cedro, New Mexico and was a longtime resident of Albuquerque. Cecilia will forever be remembered for being our loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Filomeno Gutierrez Sr. and her daughter, Mary Rita Gutierrez. Cecilia is survived by her children; two sons, Filomeno Gutierrez Jr., Leo Gutierrez and wife Sylvia; daughter, Doris Frances Vigil and husband Ernest; four grandchildren, Jeremy Javier Vigil, Ernest Vigil Jr. and wife Jennifer, Sarah Gutierrez and Ariah Joszette; two great grandchildren, Jazmin and Isaiah Vigil; other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church, 4th and Mildred NW. in Albuquerque. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be .celebrated on Friday, August 21, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Barton Cemetery in Edgewood, NM.
