Carlos Duran passed away August 15, 2009 at the age of 79. Mr. Duran was a United States Air Force veteran and was retired from the US Post Office. Mr. Duran was preceded in death by his mother and father, Maria and Eleuterio Duran. He is survived by his wife, Jennie Duran; sons, Dennis Duran, Vincent Duran, and Stanley Duran and wife, Julie; sisters, Porfiria Duran, Alberta Sandoval and husband, John, and Merenciana Duran; and grandchildren, Nikolas and Philip Duran. A Rosary for Mr. Duran will be recited on Tuesday evening, August 18, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday also at St. Anne Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Arrangements by: Salazar & Sons Mortuary 400 Third St. SW 247-4124
