Miriam Law, 97, resident of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2009. She is survived by her son, Jim Law and wife, Corinne of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Nile Law of Dallas, TX, and Melanie Law and husband, Jon Kornbluh of Ridgway, CO; great-grandchildren, Jordan and Sara Law, and Jonah and Ruben Kornbluh; and sister, Ann Cromwell of San Antonio, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, James P. Law. Miriam was born in Pawnee, LA on July 3, 1912. She lived for many years in Texas. She and her husband moved to Albuquerque in 1988. Miriam was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church. Her role as homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother were of prime importance to her. Memorial services will be held Sunday, August 16, 2009, 2:00 p.m., at St. John's Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona NE. The family requests that no flowers be sent.
