Adele was an active member of St. Matthew's and St. Michael's Episcopal churches. She also worked as a substitute teacher for the Albuquerque Public Schools until 1971. Adele adored dogs and loved to take them on walks where she always seemed to meet a new friend. She also became involved in Pet Therapy programs at the V.A. Hospital with several of her K-9 friends. Adele and her beloved greyhound, Stormy, touched many hearts. Later in her life, she enjoyed playing the piano, golfing and symphony concerts. In 2003 Adele moved to Sandia Springs Assisted Living Center in Rio Rancho where she stayed until her death. Adele's family wishes to thank all of her friends and caregivers at Sandia Springs and Vista Care Hospice.
