Adell Smith, age 73, a resident of Albuquerque since 1954, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2009. She is survived by her five children, Clarence Smith, Anthony Smith and wife Carolyn, Steven Smith and wife Linda, Pamela Davis and husband Robert, and Valerie Smith and husband Paul; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild; one sister Gaynell Hammond, and one sister in law Ruby Rand; four brothers, William Dunlap, Thomas , Melvin Jody and David Dunlap; and a host of nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 14, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Daniel Family Funeral Services Palm Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. A visitation will held on Saturday, 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church, 1509 Edith Blvd. SE. Burial to follow at Fairview Memorial Park.
