Cornelia C. Lopez, 94, of Albuquerque died Friday, August 7, 2009 at a local hospital. She was born to the late Apolinario Aurora Silva Cordova on January 25, 1915 at Magdalena, New Mexico. She was a dedicated homemaker who loved her family. Cornelia was predeceased by her husband, Benjamin F. Lopez; a son, Bennie Lopez; sisters, Ninfa, Marian and Julia; brothers, Augustine, Raymond, Jose Maria and Melechias. Survivors include her sons, Johnny and Benjamin Lopez, Jr.; daughter, Agnes Sanchez and husband, Eloy; brother Felix Cordova and wife, Nora; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 25 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass will be 9:00 A.M., Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church with interment to follow at Mount Calvary Memorial Park. Online condolences can be submitted at www.danielsfuneral.com.
