Ruth "Shorty" Lavona Pisto, born near Surprise, NE on November 19, 1920, died Wednesday, July 8, 2009. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Wayne A. "Pete" Pisto; sons, Randy and wife, Ann, and Tony and wife, Julie, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Christa of Denver, CO, Bryony, Cody and Sarah, all of Albuquerque; sisters, Maxine Stoddard of Illinois and Doris D'Lamater and husband, Robert of Albuquerque. Services will be held Monday, July 13, 2009, 11:00 a.m., at French, Lomas Blvd. Chapel. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
