Nicolas P. Abeyta, age 79, passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2009. Nicolas was born June 16, 1929 to Nicolas and Antonia Abeyta of Los Brazos, NM. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Grace Abeyta. He is survived by his brother, J. Gabriel Abeyta of Los Ojos; his son, Nick and wife, Sandra; sons, Larquin, and Terry and wife, Debbie; daughter, Marla and husband, Richard; grandchildren, Jessica, Monica, Nicole, Marisha, Valerie, Ivan, Janelle, Melanie, Elisa, Keilah, Rikki-Lee, Kamie and Cory; one great-granddaughter, Mella Grace; and many other relatives and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held at Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church in Albuquerque on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Reception will follow.
