Kenneth Ray Lucas, 51, passed away July 5, 2009. Kenneth was born in Birmingham, Alabama in 1957 and was a resident of Albuquerque. Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of ten years, Del Reanne; his parents Frank and Sis Lucas; daughters Presley Lane Lucas and Chandler Rhys Lucas; and one brother James Edward Lucas. Kenneth and his wife own and operate Granite Transformations, The ABQ Home and Lifestyle EXPO and Vanguard Properties. Kenneth was an entrepreneur, a pilot, professional water skier, and pioneer in the fitness industry. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a devoted temple worker in the Albuquerque Temple. Visitation will be this evening July 8, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services Wyoming Chapel. Funeral Service will be conducted Thursday July 9, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 11750 San Victorio NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Reception following interment at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the UNM Cancer Research and Treatment Center.
