Juliean Cyndie Nieto was born August 28, 1980 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She passed away February 2, 2009 at the age of 23. A victim of the West Mesa, she will be laid to rest with her sister, Valerie Nieto; and her cousin, Samar Griego. Juliean will be remembered as a beautiful and devoted, daughter, loving mother and a beloved friend. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and music. Juliean was loved and will be missed, but never forgotten by her family and friends. Juliean was preceded in death by her sister, Valerie Vanessa Nieto; and her cousin, Samar Griego. Juliean is survived by her son, Dominic; her loving mother, Eleanor Griego; grandparents, Paul Griego and Juanita Cano; nephews, Giovanni Nieto and Michael Angelo Cosby; aunts, Gloria Gonzales and husband Lionel and Joan Griego; uncles, David Griego and Robert Griego; as well as many cousins, other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. The Funeral Service will be held at Legacy Church, 7201 Central Ave. NW., on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery off of Coors and Arenal.
